Something that I was afraid to do but did anyway was move …

My husband and I were in between houses. We sold the house that all three of of our children were born into, and were living in a rental home while trying to figure out the next steps for our family. We had resided in northern New Jersey for over sixteen years, fretting over rising taxes and sinking school districts, when I heard something say, “you should move.” It was February 3, 2015. Two week later, we drove down to the Richmond area and looked around. We returned a month later for Spring break, and then closed on the house of our dreams on June 12, 2015. It was a fast and furious transition, and even a little reckless, but I must say we have never looked back. Our family is thriving and well. I’m so glad that I trusted that little voice that said, “move.” It would have been quite easy to ignore it.
